Inside Sales Enrollment Coordinator, Intermediate (Plan Based Enroller)

Your Role 

The Blue Shield of California IFP Direct Sales Team are responsible for assisting clients with plan selection and enrollment with on and off exchange medical, dental and vision products. The  Inside Sales Enrollment Coordinator, Intermediate (Plan Based Enroller) position will report to the Senior Manager, Direct Sales. In this role you will assist with the on-exchange enrollments for the sales agents, Evershield sales retention strategies, administrative sales team support and other duties as assigned or able to complete.

Your Work 

In this role, you will: 

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Sales team by providing the following phone-based sales support services: Telephonic enrollments, sales incentives, administrative sales support, and outbound Evershield retention efforts. 
• Ensure applications are complete and accurate before staging into appropriate systems.
• Onboarding new members to establish a relationship with Blue Shield of California. 
• Display strong computer aptitude and working knowledge of systems and business processes. 
• Provide other administrative support as required to accommodate new business needs. 
• Ability to work under limited supervision and follow direction from management and senior level team members.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience. 
• Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education. 
• Requires prior Plan Based Enroller experience with enrolling applicants on CalHeers with Covered California.
