Job Description - Inside Sales - Manager, Inside Sales

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of sales experience in the metals industry
Extensive product and market knowledge
Thorough knowledge of industry processes and products
Knowledge of customer business and purchasing philosophies, trends, habits, facilities and processes
Able to impart industry and company knowledge to less experienced employees
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
Assertive, competitive and goal oriented
Strategic thinker: confident in ability to perform job well
Responsibilities

This individual must demonstrate strong customer relationship skills and the ability to coach and mentor the ISRs and ensure each team member is meeting or exceeding established goals and metrics in regards to customer service, communication, accuracy and sales performance
Participate in strategic and tactical planning activities to support achievement of sales and operational targets
Set and track sales targets and KPIs
Effectively lead department staff by coaching, developing, communicating, delegating, and holding staff accountable
Create a team-oriented environment which motivates staff and keeps employees engaged in their jobs and the Company
Identifies inefficiencies in both inter-departmental and intra-departmental sales/programs processes (such as contract review) and implements or negotiates to drive changes/improvements to these processes
Oversee product pricing and customer quoting procedures
Serve as liaison between Field Sales, Customer Service, Scheduling, Production and other functional personnel as required to support efficient and effective order fulfillment process and customer satisfaction
Maintain proper employment levels through effective selection, interviewing, and training of personnel
Oversee the customer feedback process to improve customer service and satisfaction levels

Inside Sales Manager

Central Steel and Wire Company, a leading distributor and processor of metals with years of history, is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our team in University Park, IL. CS&W sells and processes over 70,000 metal products, providing customized metal solutions to our customers.

Background:

The Inside Sales Manager is a full-time onsite leadership role requiring an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is actively involved in the selling process, team and individual development planning, and training of Inside Sales Representatives. This individual must demonstrate strong customer relationship skills and the ability to coach and mentor the ISRs and ensure each team member is meeting or exceeding established goals and metrics in regards to customer service, communication, accuracy and sales performance.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning activities to support achievement of sales and operational targets
• Set and track sales targets and KPIs
