Established in 1964, Custom Materials, Inc. is a proven source for the custom fabrication of electrical insulation and components. We personally serve major manufacturers and suppliers of electrical power generation equipment, distribution equipment, and controls. Components range from the insulation used in transformers, motors and motor controls to precision parts for the aerospace, military, medical, renewable energy, and other demanding industries.

Companies appreciate our ability to deliver metal fabrications, plastic fabrications, even complete subassemblies. But in most every case, CMI is actually delivering a custom solution to a complex engineering, design or materials challenge. In fact, CMI takes on projects that others won’t. • Build strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention through exceptional sales/service
• Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and resolve customer issues promptly
• Place outbound calls to new and existing accounts identifying opportunities, decision maker(s), and related customer service needs
• Thoroughly understand our value-proposition and match it to customer needs
• Work in concert with the outside sales force to proactively increase market share
• Assist with inventory management based on customer needs
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
• Pay Range $35,000-45,000 (plus commission after 90 days)

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required (2-4yr College Education Preferred)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Proficiency with Windows operating system
• Advanced written and oral communication skills
• Blueprint Reading
• Good Organizational and Time Management Skills
• US Citizenship Required
