Job Description - Inside Sales Rep





























ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS




  • Identify revenue opportunities within assigned accounts through regular communications and programs, to include website promotions and other promotional campaigns. 

  • Have the ability to communicate and demonstrate to customers the benefit of working with the Dealer on its services and offerings for a wide span of industries to include but not limited to, agriculture, compact construction, general construction, forestry, mining, and industry with a variety of CAT and non-CAT equipment. 

  • Must have the ability to qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline to include CRM lead generation to sales reps within the parts, service and sales departments, machine repair leads to PSSRs, and machine sales leads to sales reps.

  • Develop and qualify leads for equipment and/or parts and service to the Dealer’s outside sale organization. 

  • Keep up to date qualified lead, customer account and machine population information within our database to effectively target specific customers for sales and promotions and track specific account and sales territory goals. 

  • Effectively employ, frequent face-to-face visits, phone campaigns based on customer diversification to include weekly, either monthly, or semi-annual contacts, and maintain the established goals for phone calls and onsite visits to customers. 

  • Promote all aspects of the Dealership, to include new, exchange, or remanufactured parts, service, customer services agreements, oil lab, technology products, by maintaining a working knowledge of all aspects of the dealership and the ability to engage in technical discussions with customers. 

  • Develop and maintain professional and positive relationships with his/her customers and fellow employees. 

  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures and work safely. 



ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS



·        Maximize customer satisfaction by providing analysis based on customer needs and the dealerships solutions to those needs. 


·        Implement effective goal setting techniques in efforts to obtain monthly and annual objectives towards company goals. 


·        Complete training programs as required, to include the ISR training program.


 



QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY



·        High School graduate or equivalent with three (3) years sales or equipment experience.


·        Must be able to speak, write and read English.


·        Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.


·        Listening and presentation skills, cold calling, call planning and time management skills, CRM or other customer data base management. 


·        Must have the ability to multitask.  Intermediate PC skill level to work with Microsoft Office Software, to include but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  Must be self-motivated and task orientated. 


·        Must be able to understand and explain basic finance concepts.


·        Other duties as assigned. 


PREFERRED


·        College degree preferred.


·        Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.



PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS



·        Material and equipment directly used:  Telephone, desktop computer, laptop computer, digital camera, Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.  Also, will use CRM.


·        Sits hours 6 – 8 hours/day.


·        Walk and stand 1 – 3 hours/day.


·        Lift 20 to 50 lbs.


·        Use hands for fine manipulation.


·        Frequent travel required for customer visits and training.


·        Regular working hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Mon. – Fri.


·        Overtime as required.
