Job Description - Inside Sales Representative

As a Procedural OR Inside Sales Representative at STERIS, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and experience to jumpstart a limitless career. Your primary responsibilities include driving sales of the Procedural OR product line to new and existing customers both virtually and sometimes in-person. Your goal is to meet or exceed individual and team sales objectives and annual sales quotas.


 


This is a hybrid role candidates must be based out of one of the following state/cities:  Chicago, IL area — office located in Vernon Hills, IL.

What will you do as an Inside Sales Representative


  • Manage, prospect, and build relationships within an assigned territory to increase revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive sales of medical supplies and devices that have a medium length sales cycle and existing account penetration.

  • Manage sales pipeline and monthly business forecasting.

  • Present quarterly business updates to business unit executive leadership team.

  • Attend national sales meetings and conferences.

The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed

Required



  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Open to future growth opportunities and relocation to outside field sales in various markets across the country

  • Ability to travel overnight up to 15%

  • Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements


Preferred



  • 1 year of sales experience

Base pay for this role is $55,000.00. This role offers on-target earnings of $72,500.00 and is eligible for uncapped commission.


 


Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
