About the Opportunity





Pathway Talent Partners is partnering with a well-established manufacturing client to identify an Inside Sales Representative. This role will serve as a key point of contact for customers, supporting both existing client relationships and new business development efforts. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and helping drive company growth through proactive sales and marketing support. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with leadership and operations in a collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customer accounts, serving as a trusted point of contact for inquiries, orders, and ongoing support.

  • Identify opportunities to expand business within current accounts through cross-selling, upselling, and proactive customer outreach.

  • Develop and cultivate new customer relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, and inbound lead follow-up.

  • Respond to customer phone calls, emails, and web inquiries in a professional, timely, and customer-focused manner.

  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer needs.

  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and pipeline information within the company's CRM system.

  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to communicate customer requirements, project timelines, and order status updates.

  • Assist with marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, promotional materials, trade show support, social media efforts, and customer communications.

  • Generate leads and support business development efforts through targeted outreach and market research.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address concerns to strengthen long-term relationships and encourage repeat business.

  • Support sales reporting, forecasting, and special projects as needed.

  • Represent the company with professionalism while promoting its products, services, and commitment to customer excellence.


Qualifications



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or a related role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Ability to build rapport and develop lasting relationships with customers and prospects.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-oriented environments.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial products, or a related industry is a plus.
