Inside Sales Representative

Position summary

We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented representative to support customers and grow sales at Total Restaurant Supply. You’ll help restaurants and other food-service businesses find the products they need, process orders, answer questions, and resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities

· Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.

· Recommend products based on customers’ needs, budgets, and timelines.

· Prepare quotes, enter orders, and follow up on open opportunities.

· Check product availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and order status.

· Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and delivery teams to resolve order issues.

· Handle returns, damaged items, billing questions, and other service requests.

· Maintain accurate customer, quote, and order records in the company’s systems.

· Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.

· Stay informed about products, promotions, and industry offerings.

Qualifications

· Customer service or sales experience; experience in restaurant supply, food service, or wholesale is a plus.

· Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.

· Comfortable handling multiple requests while maintaining accuracy.

· Basic computer skills and confidence learning order-entry.

· Reliable, organized, and professional.

· Able to work collaboratively with customers and internal team.
