Description

Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is a strong fit for someone with 3–5 years of experience who is looking to build long-term success in sales—and ideally brings a background in the foodservice industry. Whether you’ve worked as a chef, foodservice operator, equipment dealer, manufacturer, or rep, your industry insight will be a key advantage in understanding our customers’ needs.

As the first line of contact for inbound leads, you’ll engage with prospects across phone, chat, email, and SMS—helping them discover the right equipment solution based on application needs. Your ability to ask the right questions, assess their operation, and recommend the ideal configuration will be critical to your success. Once aligned, your goal is to book qualified meetings for our outside sales team, driving momentum and value in every conversation


Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Embrace and exemplify the Unox "Taste of Success" philosophy, actively promoting our company culture and values.

Engage with inbound leads via phone calls, web forms, live chat, email, and SMS—bringing a consultative approach grounded in industry knowledge.

Leverage your background in foodservice—as a chef, operator, or equipment expert—to conduct structured discovery conversations that uncover the customer’s goals, operating environment, and challenges.

Apply your understanding of foodservice workflows and Unox product capabilities to recommend the best equipment configuration for each use case.

Communicate the value of our solution clearly and persuasively, linking product benefits directly to customer pain points and operational improvements.

Follow a structured outreach cadence using proven call scripts, email templates, and SMS messaging guidelines to nurture leads over time.

Handle objections confidently by reframing the conversation, suggesting alternate perspectives, and introducing relevant use cases (“Have you thought about…”).

Demonstrate persistence in each opportunity—pushing beyond initial resistance to uncover deeper needs, with a mindset of pursuing at least three clear “no’s” before disqualifying.

Collaborate with outside sales reps to schedule high-quality, well-prepared on-site demos and meetings that drive deal progression.

Maintain meticulous records of all lead interactions and status updates in our CRM system to support forecasting and follow-through.

Education and Experience:

3 - 5 years of experience
