Job Description - Inside Sales Representative - Unlicensed

If you are an ambitious, detail oriented, people-person looking for the chance to start in the insurance industry, DAS Insurance is looking for you! Jump-start your career by joining our growing team as an entry-level insurance agent. In this position, you will be working referrals from our partners at USA Mortgage (no, you do not have to make your own leads, we will provide all of them!). The licensing and paid training will be provided on the job to help you become successful and reach your potential. Job seekers must have strong organization skills, attention to detail, and an enthusiastic approach to customer service. 

In addition to providing you with the experience and training to be a top notch sales professional, this position will allow you to help your customers in a meaningful way. No high pressure sales tactics are used at DAS Insurance; instead, we look to be an advisor for our clients to provide them the coverage they genuinely need in the case of a disaster. 

Not only is a competitive salary offered with this position, but a generous commission and bonus structure will also be provided to allow you to have an unlimited income potential.

Qualifications

  • Ambitious, hard-working and self-motivated
  • Coachable and willing to master a disciplined system
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communication and professional presentation skills
  • Candidates must have or be willing to get an Property and Casualty insurance license (DAS Insurance will reimburse)
  • The ability to adapt quickly and flexibility is a must
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Work with a pipeline of leads
  • Close sales and achieve      weekly/monthly/quarterly quotas
  • Learn and execute DAS Insurance best practices
  • Develop a knowledge of insurance & carrier products in order to confidently and honestly present and suggest products to clients
  • Assist and review a customer’s insurance policy options and plan for their future
  • Observe DAS Insurance Team Leaders and receive coaching from team mentors
  • Identify clear goals and develop personal action plans
  • Participate in team meetings to facilitate support and ongoing growth
  • Keep an accurate log of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and more to share progress toward goals with key stakeholders
  • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs
  • Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied
