Position Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative at Acceldata, you will play a fundamental role in driving the company's growth by identifying, qualifying, developing and closing new business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to prospect for new business opportunities, specifically for our Data Observability Cloud solutions, and build your sales pipeline by selling Acceldata's value proposition. Collaborating closely with our enterprise sales, sales engineering, and marketing teams, you will effectively present and demonstrate our solution to prospects and manage the end to end sales cycle for deals within your territory with an ACV up to a defined threshold determined by the CRO

We’re looking for someone who can:

Prospecting, developing and selling Acceldata Data Observability Cloud solutions within our ICP and ensuring solution fit to develop lasting partnerships with our customers.
Working within the sales team to develop winning strategies and tactics including iterating upon the sales process, GTM messaging, ICP, and sales acceleration processes.
Build and maintain relationships with account decision-makers and decision influencers, key business partners, and influencers in the territory. Leverage “social selling” techniques to identify potential prospects and targets who might benefit from the Acceldata platform.
Continuously refine and improve outbound messaging and communication strategies based on insights gained during discovery calls, account research, and internal collaboration.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales-related activities in SFDC.
Continuously stay informed about industry trends and participate in education training sessions on Acceldata’s products, products and sales enablement.
Understand and effectively communicate the value of Acceldata solutions to customers
Consistently prospecting for new business and building your sales pipeline through individual, outbound efforts.
Effectively presenting and demonstrating Acceldata Data Observability Cloud products to prospects via video conferencing.
Collaborating with Sales Engineering to develop technical solutions to meet prospect needs.
Closing annual subscription contracts of up to $125,000 in value.
Meeting and exceeding your annual sales quota
Continuously seeking new ways to grow and develop both professionally and personally.

What makes you the right fit for this position?

3+ years of quota-carrying enterprise software sales into large enterprises or upper mid market
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Strong research and analytical abilities to identify target markets and potential clients.
Ability to handle and learn from objections and rejection on a daily basis.
“Growth mindset” - learn from mistakes, stay positive, find a path to win, look to the future, not the past.
Proactive self-starter with inherent motivation to meet and exceed performance goals.
Proven track record of quota over-achievement
Experience prospecting, driving, orchestrating, and closing complex sales cycles.
Experience selling software platforms is strongly preferred.
Strong background in data: DB vendors, big data, integration, Cloud infrastructure monitoring, etc.
Business and Technical understanding of the Data Observability space.
Demonstrable knowledge of key ROI and TCO principles
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment where your contributions will be recognized and celebrated with significant career advancement opportunities.
Willingness to travel for quarterly sales team meetings and to our headquarters in Campbell, CA as needed.

Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

On-target earnings of $180,000 USD
