The Inside Sales Specialist rolehelps to streamline and support the quoting process. This role takes customer needs from the Outside Sales team and turns them into accurate, professional quotes. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in products and services, have strong communication skills, pay attention to detail, and be a multitasker to ensure the quotes are clear, correct, and executable. The Inside Sales Specialist position worksclosely with the Install Manager and Purchasing to verify feasibility, costs, and timelines.

Core Responsibilities
Receive and review customer specs from Outside Sales
Generate quotes based on standard packages, past builds, and vendor pricing
Confirm availability and feasibility of quoted items with Install and Purchasing
Create and maintain accurate quote templates, pricing files, and configuration references
Make adjustments to quotes based on feedback from sales or customers
Ensure quotes meet gross margin targets and are operationally achievable
Communicate clearly with Outside Sales to clarify needs and timelines
Keep internal records up to date for visibility and tracking
Attributes of a Strong Candidate
High School Diploma
Experience in quoting, estimating, or sales support - automotive, fleet, or equipment -preferred
Working knowledge of vehicle upfitting components (lighting, electronics, storage, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Clear communicator who can ask the right questions and follow up as needed
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotes at once
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Comfortable using pricing tools and internal systems (ERP/CRM)
A team-first attitude and a willingness to jump in when needed
