The Inside Sales Support Specialist is a highly organized and customer-focused professional responsible for managing critical aspects of the sales and order process to ensure smooth communication and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role focuses on facilitating the sales cycle through efficient administrative support, such as preparing precise quotations, handling bid documentation, processing orders, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve efficient and timely order fulfillment. The specialist will leverage CRM and ERP systems to maintain accurate customer records, identify potential business opportunities, and provide valuable insights. Additionally, this position serves as a central point of contact for customer inquiries, manages pricing, addresses product availability, and fosters cross-departmental collaboration to streamline sales processes.
Are You Looking to:
Assist in generating bid documentation required for tender participation?
Process purchase orders, sales orders, and generate customer invoices?
Verify data accuracy in orders and invoices?
Communicate with clients to obtain missing information or address queries?
Relay customer priorities to internal teams for alignment?
Identify and escalate blockers or issues impacting customer satisfaction to the parts sales team?
Share important customer feedback with internal teams to drive improvements?
Use DWT’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to document business opportunities and consolidate customer information?
Ensure CRM provides reliable insights for team use?
Provide pricing and formal quotations aligned with management?
Are You Ready to:
Prepare accurate quotations based on bid specifications and configurations.
Share detailed product information, including availability.
Maintain up-to-date customer-specific pricing for timely access.
Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with internal departments to manage order backlog and ensure progress.
Align order flow with logistics and select optimal shipping methods to meet customer deadlines.
Establish and manage databases of customer-preferred products, pricing history, and demand trends.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and usage.
Create and edit customer presentations as needed.
Support ERP/CRM system updates to improve operational efficiency.
Interpret labels accurately to ensure proper processing.
Assist with goods receipt for urgent customer orders.
What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree is a bonus, but not required.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, customer databases and an ERP system
Team player attitude, willing to work flexible hours as needed
Thrives in a fast-moving environment
Strong people skills – a polite and professional demeanor when working with other companies, as well as consumers and coworkers
Successfully completed technical vocational training or technical/economic studies
Several years of professional experience in technical positions, preferably with a manufacturer or supplier of wind turbines
High level of motivation and willingness to learn
Valid Driver's License
Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.
