Position Summary 

The Inside Sales/Wholesale Outside Sales team member will work independently, under the direction of the Operations Manager at Boyer Sales & Service. This is a position that encompasses job duties from both the inside sales team and the outside sales team. They are responsible for bringing in sales opportunities from our existing wholesale customers as well as bringing in new wholesale customers. They work through and complete the entire sales cycle from finding sales opportunities to generating quotes to closing the sale. 

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Generating detailed quotation involving multiple components and variables.
• Reviewing plan rooms for bidding jobs.
• Find quotation opportunities for our represented products.
• Face to face customer interactions
• Promote all company offered product lines, per customer and project needs, or as directed by management
• Track all customer visits and outgoing quotes for follow-up. 
• Expand our customer base for sales.
• Meet agreed sales targets.
• Receive and review customer inquiries for products and service
• Inquiries will occur via phone, email and in-person conversations, which will include project bid packages
• Research end-use specifications and provide quotes for products and services to meet customer needs
• Develop and provide to customer the quotes as required, or exceptions as noted
• Capture and track all quotes in central ERP system for future follow up and conversion to sales orders
• Receive and evaluate incoming purchase orders for accuracy and terms & conditions
• Follow up with vendors on delivery timing as needed to keep customer updated
• Research shipments and delivery information, in coordination with customer and Boyer Service, to ensure timely project deliverables
• Troubleshooting over the phone for pumps and equipment as may be required.
• Any reasonable request by management.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• High School Diploma - or the equivalent
• Mechanically inclined. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Steady work history
• Ability to work in a team
• Positive communication skills
• Stand for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50lbs.

Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, lift up to 50 lbs and move about the facility. Travel rarely, but as needed for training and possible customer visits.
