Your Role: As a Service Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of farm machinery and vehicles. You'll work directly in the field, ensuring equipment like tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems are functioning at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and hand tools.
Reassemble & Test: Reassemble equipment after repairs, testing for optimal performance and making adjustments as necessary.
Parts Management: Create parts lists for estimates/orders, ensuring the necessary parts are on hand for repairs.
Customer Communication: Work closely with the service office to update customers on repair status, parts, and completion timelines.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep your workspace and service vehicle organized and clean.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with training requirements to meet OEM specifications and maintain certifications.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 1-2 years of service technician experience, preferably with heavy equipment or farm machinery.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and communication. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment is a plus.
Certifications: Forklift certification and Kubota Registered Technician certification are preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and work in various physical positions (kneeling, standing, sitting). Visual acuity for close vision and depth perception is required.
