Job Description - Insights Specialist

Insights Specialist

As an Insights Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing qualitative and quantitative research projects from start to finish. Reporting to the Director of Insights, you’ll oversee projects ranging from identifying objectives to presenting actionable results. This is the perfect role for someone who’s highly organized, detail-oriented, and deeply curious about understanding people and their motivations.

Key Responsibilities

Qualitative Research



  • Define research objectives, design plans, and craft proposals.

  • Write screeners, discussion guides, and manage recruiting progress.

  • Coordinate logistics for in-person and online qualitative research.

  • Summarize findings into concise, actionable recommendations.

Quantitative Research



  • Develop research plans and proposals based on defined objectives.

  • Draft questionnaires and ensure accuracy in programming.

  • Monitor fieldwork progress and determine data analysis needs.

  • Create visual data presentations and deliver insights that drive strategy.

Project Management



  • Manage budgets, track projections, and ensure accurate invoicing.

  • Lead monthly billing processes for the Insights Team.

Trends Analysis



  • Monitor and share consumer and cultural trends to deepen the agency’s understanding of target audiences.

Qualifications



  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, market research, communications, advertising, or psychology.

  • Knowledge of market research methodologies and survey design.

  • Experience translating consumer survey data into marketing insights.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
