Inspection Packer (D2) - 3rd shift (Mon-Thur 3pm-1am)

Hourly base is $42,120 a year.

Overtime available.

The Gluer Inspector Packer / Feeder should be capable of feeding and/or packing on all the folder/gluers and window machine, as well as being able to flat pack.

Qualifications: 

 * High School Diploma or GED is required 

 * Excellent attendance required. 

 * Factory experience preferred. 

 * Able to work independently and on teams while demonstrating safe work practices. 

 * basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Keep die positions separate when feeding machines on critical jobs as designated by the person in charge of the
shift.
2. Ability to stop and start machinery during the run.
3. Ability to clear machine in case of a jam‐up.
4. Employees shall rotate every hour between feeding, case making, inspecting/palletizing.
5. Must have basic knowledge of color standards set by SPBCo.
6. Assist with carton repairs.
7. Sort cartons for defects when needed.
8. Ability to pack finished product on delivery end of folder/gluer.
9. Ability to read the job ticket and know any information required for the job
10. Ensure good product is coming off the line and stop the line/question when a defect is seen.
11. Ability to fill out proper paperwork
12. Air hammer / hand strip product when needed.
13. Material handling – relocating loads throughout department where needed.
14. Guillotine liners/dividers for orders.
15. Replace recycle bins (when full) with an empty bin.
16. Proper entry into PDE for job being performed.
17. Assist, when needed, with training of new employees in department
18. Assist in maintenance and janitorial duties when needed. This would include cleaning glue pots, machinery, work area and other areas of the plant; dump garbage/recycle bins when full.
19. Other duties as assigned
