Job Description - Inspections and Exercises Manager

Job Summary:

JCS Solutions has a need for an Inspections and Exercises Manager to support the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) IT Services (ITS) program at the Pentagon.  The successful candidate will assist the Government staff by responsibilities include using CRM programs and CRM tools, resolving escalated client issues, and ensuring customers are aware of new and existing company products. The position is 100% on-site at Joint Base Andrews (JBA). What you will do:
The specific duties include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
  • Plan and execute readiness exercises to assess operational effectiveness
  • Conduct inspections of personnel, equipment, facilities to ensure compliance with military standards
  • Analyze training programs and recommend improvements for combat preparedness
  • Develop evaluation criteria for assessing unit readiness and mission capability
  • Prepare reports summarizing findings and providing actionable recommendations
  • Coordinate with leadership and implement corrective actions to enhance readiness
  • Monitor compliance with regulations and policies related to military preparedness
  • Utilize automated tools to track readiness metrics and identify trends
  • Train personnel on best practices for maintaining operational effectiveness
  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure alignment with broader military objectives
  • Align exercises objectives with unit strategic goals
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically strong and able to make quick, sound decisions. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.

What you will bring:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • 8+ years of military experience
  • Training and Evaluation expertise within a military environment

How you will wow us:
  • Two years of experience in quality assurance and/or process improvement.
  • Knowledge or readiness standards
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate training programs, exercises, and inspections
  • Prior leadership experience in a military environment
