INSPECTOR

We are hiring an entry level Inspector to work in our Ville Platte, La location. The successful candidate will inspect materials and/or products to ensure they meet required specifications using established inspection techniques (NDT, dimensional inspection). Together, we create amazing technology that unlocks access to energy for the benefit of all.\n\n \nSummary of essential job functions:\n\nInitially under the guidance or instruction of an experienced Inspector, the incumbent will undertake any or all of the following:\n\n * Demonstrates clear understanding of safety rules, regulations and policies.\n * Demonstrates clear understanding of quality management system procedures, including\n\n\n\nall quality instructions specific to the job functions hired to perform.\n\n * If hired for NDT, complete the necessary training, per ASNT SNT-TC-1A, for each\n\n\n\nspecific NDT discipline in order to be qualified as a Level II inspector.\n\n * If hired for Receiving, complete the necessary dimensional and metrology training to be\n\n\n\ncompetent in gauge utilization and suitability to perform self-sufficient and effective\n\ndimensional inspection.\n\n * Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other capacity lifting or transporting equipment.\n * Undergo training for visual examination of materials and products.\n * Undergo training for hardness testing and positive material identification, as applicable.\n * Learn SAP transactions applicable to the role hired for and job functions required, as well\n\n\n\nas other computer-related software and/or applications necessary to effectively perform\n\nthe job.\n\n * Read, comprehend and understand specifications, drawings, special procedures or other\n\n\n\nwork-related instructions to perform operations and/or tasks associated with the\n\njob functions.\n\n * Be punctual and follow the attendance policy.\n * Be able to work well with others in a team environment.\n\n\n\nMust have the legal right to work and reside in the United States without visa sponsorship.\n\nExperience and Qualifications\n\n * High School Diploma or GED.\n * Technical certifications, as applicable, training, classroom and certification perASNT SNT-TC-1A in the following disciplines: RT, MPI, LPI, UT and PAUT (NDT Inspector).\n * Dimensional experience in a manufacturing environment or training a plus (Receiving \nInspection).\n * Excellent written and Verbal communication skills.\n * Knowledge of SAP.\n\n\n
