Inspector - Packing (3rd Shift)

Salary Range: $18.37 - $22.26/hour (pending experience) 

Hours:  Sunday  / 10pm - 6am

Tuesday - Thursday / 6pm - 6am

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to read standard/metric measuring tape.


• Must be able to perform basic mathematic calculations or standard metric measurements.


• Ability to work with all levels of employees.


• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Wrap and stack all finished slit rolls, in order to allow production employees to run machines with minimal down time

· Keep track of all packing supplies (e.g., boxes, roll cradles, and core plugs, etc.), and inform the Shipping Lead when reordering is necessary

· Load the wrapping station with proper supplies (e.g., boxes, core plugs, etc.)

· Assist Slitter Operators when able to do so

· Maintain work areas clean, assist with general housekeeping

· Operate bailer in a safe manner

· Assist slitter operators by cutting fiber and plastic cores

· Clean and deburr plastic cores

· Comply with all ProAmpac Safety, Quality, Operational and Employment policies and practices

· Day-to-day compliance with quality, food safety and prerequisite programs

· Daily cleanup of equipment

· Perform other duties as needed
