Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to join a rail products company in Sand Springs. This role involves both inspecting and packaging heat-forged rail track spikes, with duties split 50/50 on a rotating schedule. The Inspector/Packer must be dependable, safety-focused, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection Duties (50%)

· Visually examine forged spikes for cracks, pits, laps, discoloration, scale, or deformation.

· Use preset gauges to verify spike dimensions and head shape.

· Monitor product movement on conveyor lines to prevent or clear jams.

Packaging Duties (50%)

· Operate automated filler equipment to ensure containers meet weight requirements.

· Adjust and set load scales when necessary.

· Manually position and transfer filled containers to pallets.

· Label containers with product details and maintain accurate records.

Additional Tasks

· Occasionally operate a forklift to move palletized kegs to docks, shrink-wrap stations, or storage.

Requirements

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail.

· Basic knowledge of measurement tools and gauges.

· Forklift experience preferred (training may be provided).

· Strong work ethic and dependability.
