We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Install Team Start-Up Technician to join our growing team. This full-time, hourly role is perfect for someone who wants to develop into a full Service Technician and is eager to learn from the best in the HVAC industry.

You’ll be the final eyes, ears, and hands on all newly installed systems, ensuring each project finishes strong with a perfect start-up and customer handoff. You’ll also support our Service Department with preventative maintenance calls as needed.

This is a development role designed to prepare the right person to transition into a full Service Technician position. You’ll receive mentoring, ride-alongs, and technical training to build your skills while earning full-time pay. 

Requirements

Install Start-Up Duties (Primary)

• Perform system start-ups for newly installed HVAC units (heat pumps, ACs, gas packs, mini-splits, and more)
   
• Confirm all install details meet manufacturer specifications and code compliance
   
• Complete system charging, airflow balancing, and thermostat setup
   
• Run through commissioning steps to ensure optimal system performance
   
• Educate homeowners on system operation and maintenance best practices
   
• Document start-up reports in Service Titan and flag any installation deficiencies
   

Preventative Maintenance Duties (Secondary)

• Conduct Comfort Club maintenance visits on residential systems
   
• Replace filters, clean coils, check electrical components, and test system operation
   
• Provide friendly, professional communication with homeowners
   
• Identify and document any service concerns for follow-up
   

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ years of HVAC install, maintenance, or start-up experience preferred
   
• EPA Universal Certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
   
• Ability to work with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and read wiring diagrams
   
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
   
• Great communication skills with customers and teammates
   
• Willingness to learn and grow into a Service Technician role
   
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
