Job Description - Installation and Scheduling Coordinator

Primary purpose:  Provide support to TVID Interiors by recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling all subcontractors for product installations (cabinets, countertops, and flooring), coordinating all inbound warranty, and managing all supporting events. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Subcontractor Liaison

  • Recruit new subcontractors and initiate the onboarding process, explain FBS expectations and requirements
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed list of all subcontractors
  • Review subcontractor standings (insurance, performance, feedback from the field, etc.) 
  • Communicate with subcontractors to support their questions, inform them of compliant standings, and have sit-downs to discuss performance concerns
  • Communicate installation schedules, expectations, and payable work orders to subcontractors
  • Organize regular subcontractor events for training, appreciation, etc.

Scheduler

  • Organize and oversee installation schedules for all installed products
  • Organize and oversee schedules for all TVID Interior support events, i.e. Delivery, Project Manager Pre-checks and Post-Checks, Cabinet/Flooring Mark-outs, Warranties, etc. 
  • Coordinate with Sales, Account Coordinators, Warehouse, Project Managers, Install Teams, etc. to align schedules and communicate updates
  • Maintain clear calendar and notes for TVII team to view scheduled events and assigned individuals (Calendar & Lists)
  • Communicate capacity restraints or concerns to Operations and Install Managers

Warranty Coordinator

  • Receive and log all warranty service requests related to installed interiors.
  • Assign warranty work to the appropriate subcontractor.
  • Track warranty performance metrics and recurring issues to support continuous improvement.
  • Follow up on warranty completion and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Sales Team to close the loop on warranty concerns.

Requirements

Required:

  • General understanding of the construction process and how interior trades fit into the broader timeline.
  • Good judgement and decision-making skills
  • Professional demeanor to portray company in a positive manner
  • Able to solve problems with minimal supervision
  • Manage priorities to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, or sustainability of operation
  • Approachable, a good listener and communicating effectively
  • Work well with others and provide good team support
  • Able to modify your planned daily schedule for unplanned urgencies
  • Be a thinker, planner and visionary
  • Effective at setting and achieving goals
  • Thrive under pressure and juggle multiple tasks with finesse
  • Strong leadership and time management skills

Strongly Preferred:

  • Computer and general knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Familiarity with Flooring, Countertop, and Cabinet products
  • General understanding of installed process for interior products
