The Installation Assistant - HVAC will work closely with our experienced HVAC technicians to assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC field while supporting our team in delivering top-notch service to our residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist HVAC technicians in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems for residential and commercial customers.
- Learn and apply proper techniques for HVAC diagnosis, repair, and maintenance under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Assist with installation of HVAC components, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
- Support the sales team by engaging with customers to understand their HVAC needs and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment used and hours worked.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests and installations.
- Assist with maintaining inventory of parts and supplies.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the company.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC preferred (similar construction experience as a plumbing or electrical assistant may be transferable).
- Strong desire to work hard and contribute to the success of the team.

- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Physical Demands:
- Perform duties in various environments, including customer homes, outdoors, and field sites on uneven terrain.
- Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance.
- Work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods.
- Requires concentration, attention to detail, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- May work in closed or cramped spaces on occasion.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday 8:00 - 5:00
- Weekend and Overtime Work Seasonally
