Williams Distributing, a division of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc., is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing Garage Door team as an Installation Helper.

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys hands-on, physical work


• Is interested in learning a skilled trade


• Is dependable and willing to learn


• Is comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions


• Can work safely on construction sites and in warehouse environments


• Is safety-focused and works well as part of a team


• Has basic mechanical aptitude


• Can use a smartphone or tablet for basic scheduling and job information


• Is legally authorized to work in the United States and does not require sponsorship now or in the future

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds independently


• Ability to team lift, with assistance, items weighing more than 40 pounds, including materials and equipment used during installation and warehouse operations


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the shift


• Ability to work on construction sites and in warehouse environments


• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools


• Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and other safety equipment as required

Schedule

• Full-time


• Monday through Friday


• Employees may support both field installation and warehouse operations during the same week depending on workload and business needs


• Daily travel between local job sites and customer locations as assigned
