Position Overview

The Installation Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of irrigation, drainage, and LED lighting installations. This leadership role ensures the overall success of the Installation Production Department, overseeing team performance, project execution, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Financial Oversight

• Oversee performance of the Installation Production Department
• Monitor budgets, analyze financial data, and make data-driven decisions
• Use forecasting and capacity models to ensure teams are fully staffed and trained
• Evaluate team and project performance using key metrics
• Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic growth and expansion

Team Leadership & Culture

• Recruit, train, and evaluate field operations staff
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
• Promote company culture, safety, and vision through all interactions
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively
• Foster a positive, productive, and safe work environment

Project Management

• Assist in preparing estimates, proposals, and contracts
• Manage project scope, scheduling, and job costing
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, and internal teams
• Maintain records of completed, in-progress, and scheduled revenue
• Oversee inventory and ensure timely ordering of special parts
• Conduct quality control checks to uphold standards

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all work is performed to safety and quality standards
• Use Fleetio to manage vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Conduct on-site safety inspections

Qualifications

Required

• Strong knowledge of irrigation, drainage, and LED lighting systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead both office and field teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and at least one CRM system
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred

• Experience installing custom design-build irrigation systems
• Ability to read and build from blueprints and system plans

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Willingness to work in the field with service teams as needed
• Physical demands include walking in various weather conditions
• Extensive computer and keyboard use
• Ability to sit for extended periods
