Job Summary
At ProSpectra, a Diverzify company, we are looking for an experienced Installation Service Manager (ISM) to join our team. The role will include ensuring workplace safety, managing job site activities, managing field labor scheduling, managing personnel performance, and communicating effectively with customers. The ISM is also responsible for supporting new installation and remodel sales by reviewing existing conditions, providing realistic production rates, and identifying potential cost impacts prior to the start of the project. The selected candidate must be an expert at fulfilling customer requirements and maximizing profitability; excellent communication, financial acumen, business development, and management skills will all be critical to success in this role. The ISM must also have the necessary skills and experience to handle customer concerns and adjust power levels to drive maximum efficiency and profitability, accurately.

Job Responsibilities
Lead with integrity and fairness to foster teamwork, quality, and communication among all employees and subcontractors
Train and develop field installers on established processes, tools, and company standards
Enforce company policies and procedures regarding subcontractors and unions
Manage customer relationships and contract compliance requirements (scope) while minimizing costs and ensuring company quality and safety standards
Drive effective handoff meetings to provide critical analysis and documentation of contract scope, production rates, and gross profit of the job prior to booking
Perform pre-mobilization checklists within 2 weeks of scheduled on-site labor and manage on-site activities with customers to ensure manufacturer site conditions are met and field labor is used most effectively and efficiently
Deliver scope non-compliance report to the customer in writing within 24 hours of pre-mobilization check and confirm remediation prior to scheduling on-site field labor
Proactively problem-solve for installation efficiency and job completion in line with the project schedule to ensure minimal punch list items exist on the last day of installation
Effectively staff projects to meet project budgets and timelines through in-depth knowledge of installer skill sets and qualifications
Review the project plan to develop appropriate on-site material staging areas that will minimize the number of deliveries and re-mobilization of the labor force
Review work orders for accuracy and proactively schedule material deliveries to ensure necessary materials and tooling are on site so as not to impede production or project schedule
Identify out-of-scope work and proactively communicate with customers to agree on change order procedures that will ensure payment at agreed-upon labor rates and markup
Assist PM in tracking costs, negotiating outstanding change order requests, resolving discrepancies in reported installer hours, and investigating and resolving customer complaints with a high degree of success
Act as liaison between the field and office by sending daily reports from each site visit including in-progress and POC (Percentage of Completion) reporting
Complete periodic safety audits per the company’s compliance schedule
Track project timelines, daily production, and slippage impact on cost and schedule. Provide solutions to meet customers’ turnover schedule if slippage occurs. If slippage is out of Diverzify’s control, immediately communicate in writing to the customer the need for change orders if necessary
Support the local sales team in estimating new installation bids
Participate in company and supplier professional development programs to enhance working knowledge of flooring products and installation methodologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, or Journeyman Installer experience
5 plus years’ experience of demonstrated experience, and knowledge of the products in the floor covering industry.
Demonstrated ability in mathematics, specifically fractions, measurements, and reading a ruler.
Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written reports and documentation.
Demonstrated ability to visually recognize conformance and nonconformance of flooring products.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 30 training Certification Preferred
