Installer

Responsibilities

• Install retractable, fixed, motorized, and custom awning systems at residential and commercial properties.
• Measure job sites and verify installation specifications before installation.
• Assemble and secure awning components, brackets, support structures, and motorized systems.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments to existing awning systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, installation instructions, and work orders.
• Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and local building code requirements.
• Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of installed products.
• Load, transport, and unload materials and equipment to and from job sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete installation reports and project documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, carpentry, awning installation, roofing, window and door installation, or a related trade preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience using power tools and hand tools.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights from ladders and aerial lifts.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
