Position Overview/Purpose:

Professionally install vinyl graphics in an efficient manner with precise accuracy and a strong attention to detail to maintain Advertising Vehicle’s highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.   

What you'll do:

• Installation of vinyl graphic wraps on vans, big Sprinter vans, box trucks, transit buses, and floor graphics following proper 3M procedures in time frame established.  
• Responsible for completing Installer checklist before vehicle is returned to customer.  
• Install large cut vinyl jobs, wrap vinyl around corners and bumpers of vehicles precisely meeting company quality standards.  
• Prepare surfaces for quality vinyl graphic installation.  
• Removal of vinyl graphics and adhesive from a variety of surfaces without causing damage to the surface. 
• Installation of interior advertising cards on buses and trains.  
• Use knife to precisely cut vinyl at seams, windows, hinges and door handles. 
• Use proper heating technique to install wraps.  
• Proper use of Primer 94.  
• Installation of Traxx frame and skins to AV specification.  
• Upload photos and complete order in company systems.  
• Complete orders and use calendar for Aces Sing scheduling in AVBC.  
• Maintain punctual attendance and work flexible schedules as needed.  
• Travel out of the area for work purposes and stay overnight as needed. 
• Deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.  
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in vinyl graphic installation.
• Ability to install vinyl graphic wraps on vans and box trucks. Complete a cargo van without a roof in 7 hours and a 16-foot box truck in 6 hours.  
• Ability to install vinyl graphic wraps on big Sprinter vans in 9 hours.  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to clients.   
• Ability to work independently.  

Work Requirements:  

• Constant standing, walking, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination.  
• Frequent lifting, carrying, climbing, balancing, heights, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
• Occasional sitting, pushing, pulling, talking, and hearing.  
• Frequent vision requirements of the position are close up, at a distance, and in color.  
• Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds, slouching, bending, reaching, grabbing and standing on your feet the majority of the day. 
• Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and insurability to drive company vehicles. 
• Flexibility in scheduling, ability to travel overnight and work evening, night and weekend shifts.
