 Welcome to Grayson College. The salary range for this position is $47,843.33 to $71,769.99 per year.

Institutional Effectiveness Coordinator:




Role:
Coordinates the implementation of the College's institutional effectiveness and assessment process. 



Essential Functions & Responsibilities:


  • 35%  Leads and manages the full lifecycle of the Academic Program Review (APR) process in collaboration with faculty and academic leadership. Maintains and recommends improvements to the structured workflows and timelines, ensures timely submission of reports, supports alignment with resource planning, and maintains documentation for continuous process improvement. Facilitates training and
    communicates APR-related updates across the institution.

  • 15%  Designs and assists with the development, administration, and analysis of institutional surveys, including national, departmental, and internal surveys. Works closely with departments to develop custom survey instruments, ensures quality of data collection and interpretation, and manages relevant platforms and tools for survey distribution and reporting. Contributes to the development and evaluation of the College’s strategic plan by collecting, analyzing, and reporting survey data related to student engagement, learning outcomes, and institutional priorities. Supports evidence-based decision-making through clear communication of survey findings to stakeholders.

  • 15%  Supports accreditation and compliance activities, including the preparation and editing of narratives, collection and evaluation of documentation and evidence, and coordination of related timelines. Maintains current knowledge of SACSCOC standards and assists in ensuring alignment with accreditation requirements.

  • 10%   Supports academic and student support area assessment activities. Provides administrative support in developing outcomes, measures, and assessment tools; prepares reports and presentations; and ensures consistency with institutional goals and accreditor expectations.

  • 10%  Plans and coordinates meetings, events, and training sessions related to program review, accreditation, and assessment initiatives. Develops materials and resources, tracks participation and outcomes, and communicates updates related to office
    functions.

  • 5%  Maintains accurate and up-to-date records related to curriculum and program offerings, including approvals and submissions to THECB, SACSCOC, and other internal systems. Supports integration of curriculum information into institutional reports and publications.

  • 5%  Serves as a campus-wide resource on institutional effectiveness, providing guidance, consultation, and training on assessment practices, continuous improvement strategies, and use of institutional data. 

  • 5%  Completes special projects assigned by the Director and contributes to various ad hoc institutional effectiveness initiatives. Represents the Office on committees as needed and ensures timely follow-up and documentation of recommendations and actions.

  6.   Ensures compliance with SACSCOC and THECB standards and regulations.

  7.   Maintains documentation and reporting systems that support data-driven decision-making.


Knowledge and Skills:


Experience: Two years to five years of similar or related experience including experience in the application of educational research methodologies. 



Education:   A Master's degree from an accredited institution or a specialized certification program taking one year or more of coursework beyond a Bachelor's degree. 



Interpersonal Skills:   Strong communication and collaboration skills required. Regular interaction with College personnel and external stakeholders requires professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion.



Other Skills:   


  •  Strong analytical and data visualization skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and survey/data platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SPOL, etc.)

  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently

  • Familiarity with accreditation and compliance documentation



Physical Requirements:  Primarily sedentary office work with occasional light lifting, walking, and travel for events or meetings.



Work Environment:  Professional office environment with regular use of standard office equipment and technology.
