Job Summary
Provide intermediate to advanced instruction, assistance and troubleshooting of education related technology and content delivery systems. This position will interact on a regular basis with: faculty, staff and GT clients. This position typically will advise and counsel:
faculty, staff and GT clients. This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Operate AV production equipment, including camera pan/tilt units, audio mixers, video switchers and video capture systems for the effective capture of GTPE courses and events
Job Duty 2 -
Ensure all relevant educational course material is captured according to department guidelines, striving to maximize the online student's educational experience
Job Duty 3 -
Advise instructors and recommend best practices for lecture capture online delivery model
Job Duty 4 -
Perform regular audio/visual systems tests, ensuring control room equipment and systems are functioning normally
Job Duty 5 -
Perform basic AV control room troubleshooting
Job Duty 6 -
Provide video and web conferencing support for GTPE meetings, educational events and courses
Job Duty 7 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Other Required Qualifications
Valid Georgia Driver's License Must be able to complete GT driver safety class within three months of employment.
Required Experience
Three to four years of job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Cloud, faculty support, experience in Higher Education work environment
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS
Advanced understanding of video and audio production techniques and equipment operation. Ability to read, interpret and adjust the appropriate audio and video equipment using basic signal monitoring equipment in relation to the capture process.
