We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Instructor to join our dynamic team and make a real impact!

• 🎉 Craft Epic Learning Adventures: Design and deliver exciting activity plans and instructional materials tailored to the unique needs and goals of our awesome participants.
• 💼 Teach Skills That Rock: Provide hands-on training in vocational skills, independent living, and community know-how to help participants thrive in work and life.
• 🌍 Explore the Community: Lead participants in super fun community-based activities like volunteering and outings that boost daily living skills and confidence.

Required Education / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, special education, rehabilitation or a related human services field and/or three years’ experience in rehabilitation or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to drive a 15 passenger van.
• Must have a valid NC Driver’s License and driving record adhering to Agency standards

Physical Requirements

• The position is considered sedentary to light, requiring 50% sedentary and 50% mobility. 
• Lifting less than 10 pounds.
• Requires visual observation and the ability to communicate with a variety of individuals.

Compensation

• Starting at $22.00 per hour
