Location: Midkiff, TX
Schedule: M–F | 5/2 | 40 hours per week

Position Overview
We are searching for experienced Automation Technicians (I&C Coordinators) to support instrumentation, controls, and analyzer systems at our Midkiff site. The role provides subject matter expertise to maintenance teams and operations, focusing on troubleshooting, maintenance design, SSHE compliance, and automation optimization. Candidates must bring 5+ years of recent automation experience and a strong background in instrumentation and controls within oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise on instrumentation, control systems, analyzers, and automation equipment
Support maintenance teams with troubleshooting and complex problem resolution
Participate in constructability and maintenance design reviews; assist engineering teams
Implement and steward maintenance design philosophies and project specifications
Provide technical input to risk assessments, incident investigations, and FEED studies
Support cost management, productivity improvements, and Turnaround/project support
Deliver training input and share best practices across teams
Develop personal expertise and contribute knowledge across company networks

Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of recent automation experience required
Previous experience in instrumentation and control positions within oil & gas
Knowledge of SSHE requirements and maintenance best practices
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Discipline-specific certifications or equivalent professional experience preferred
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities
Team-oriented mindset; able to influence without direct authority

Additional Details

Tools & Equipment: Agency-provided ¾-ton truck, tools, and toolboxes (list provided by manager)
Environment: Field-based with occasional office interface; mix of daily maintenance and project support
Travel/Commute: Must be local to the Midkiff area or willing to commute
