Job Description - Instrumentation Engineer Specialist III

Compensation: $70 - 90/hr
Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer Specialist III
Location: Anchorage, AK
Schedule: 5 Days On / 2 Days Off (Approx. 40 hrs/week)

Job Responsibilities Summary:

Provides instrumentation and controls engineering support to all phases of project design, execution, installation, commissioning and operation.
Maintains and applies company instrumentation design criteria and specifications as well as industry recognized standards.
Reviews Engineering drawings and instructions to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Develops and executes test plans for instrumentation installation, document calibrations, system configurations, and data acquisition equipment.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses instrumentation related issues including electrical, mechanical, and computer controlled systems.
Assists in factory acceptance testing and field inspections.
Supports supply chain in instrumentation systems and equipment procurement activities.

Qualifications:

Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience.

Requires a strong understanding of discipline.
Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations.
Makes decisions within broad parameters.

Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience
