Salary :
$18 - 22 hourly
The Authorization Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the insurance authorization; this position works hand in hand with the Surgery Scheduler. The Authorization Specialist authorizes all procedures and assures that all of the appropriate clinical and insurance coding information is collected for the surgery scheduler. This position is also responsible for all of the scanning of documents into the HST system and preparing all documents for pre-operative visits.
High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office required.
