Insurance Coordinator

Join Charlottesville Blue Ridge Dental as an Insurance Coordinator, where you will play a key role in managing insurance processes to ensure our patients receive seamless support and efficient billing services. This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and offers a competitive hourly wage paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process patient insurance information accurately and efficiently.


• Submit insurance claims and follow up on claim status and payments.


• Coordinate with insurance companies to resolve any claims issues or discrepancies.


• Assist patients with insurance questions and guide them through coverage details.


• Maintain organized and up-to-date patient insurance records.


• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure proper billing procedures are followed.


• Support the front office team in scheduling and patient communication as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in insurance coordination or medical/dental billing preferred.


• Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans and claim submission processes.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.


• Proficiency with computer systems and billing software.


• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.


• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications a plus.
