Position: Dental Insurance Coordinator

As a Dental Insurance Coordinator, you will be the crucial link between our patients and their insurance providers.Your primary responsibilities will include verifying patient health insurance benefits, effectively communicating with dental offices, sending out and receiving pre-authorizations, and processing insurance payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patients' health insurance benefits.

• Efficiently input all insurance information into practice management software, ensuring all dental office administrators clearly understand their patients insurance benefits.

• Communicate effectively with dental office administrators and treatment coordinators.

• Send and receive pre-authorizations to insurance companies and follow up with patients to schedule appointments.

• Generate reports for various activities.

• Follow up on unpaid insurance claims.

• Monitor weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to ensure payment from clients and insurance companies.

To Excel in This Role:

You should have the ability to work closely with dental office staff, clearly explain patients insurance benefits, address any insurance concerns, and manage disputes efficiently. An outstanding Dental Insurance Coordinator will provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with insurance companies, ensuring a balance between patient benefits and insurance payments.
