Job Description - Insurance Credentialing Specialist (Financial Services) - FT/80

Description

The Insurance Credentialing Specialist will:

  • Coordinate the insurance enrollment processes to adhere to each insurance company's rules and regulations, policies and procedures, federal and state regulatory standards. 
  • Be responsible for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the application process. 
  • Be responsible for timely communication of extraordinary information or potential problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance plan requirements, regulatory requirements, and licensure requirements. (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.).
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
