Job Description - Insurance Sales Representative

North Florida Insurance Group is a 22 year old local Tallahassee family owned insurance agency seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Insurance Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As a leader in the insurance industry as Tallahassee's only GEICO EXCLUSIVE AGENCY, we pride ourselves on providing tailored insurance solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping clients navigate their insurance options and providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will engage with potential clients, assess their insurance needs, and offer them personalized insurance products. Your ability to build lasting relationships, coupled with your knowledge of our extensive range of insurance services, will be key to your success. Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their insurance needs.
  • Present and explain insurance products to clients in a clear and approachable manner.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities for new sales.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist clients in completing insurance applications and documentation.
  • Follow up with prospective clients to maintain relationships and encourage sales.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Knowledge of various insurance products and services.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A valid insurance license or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
