About the Role

Ignition Dealer Services is looking for an experienced Insurance Services Specialist to support our growing portfolio of insurance and reinsurance operations across automotive retail partners. This role blends technical insurance expertise with strong data analysis and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless risk management support. What You’ll Do

Insurance Program Management

  • Assist in the administration of property, casualty, liability, and garage insurance programs
  • Support policy placements, renewals, endorsements, claims tracking, and documentation
  • Maintain alignment between program terms and business needs

Reinsurance Tracking & Support

  • Administer reinsurance agreements and related data
  • Ensure consistency across insurance and reinsurance terms, documentation, and compliance
  • Track recoverables and reporting timelines in partnership with legal and finance

Data Management & Reporting

  • Analyze claims, exposure, premiums, and reinsurance-related data
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or SQL
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness across internal systems and broker/carrier portals

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with brokers, underwriters, legal, and finance teams
  • Assist with audit prep and ensure policy-level compliance documentation is accurate
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to support claims and renewals

Process Optimization

  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current workflows
  • Propose improvements to automate reporting, streamline data reconciliation, or enhance visibility
  • Lead initiatives that improve risk transparency across dealerships
     

Requirements

What You Bring

Required

  • 5+ years of insurance industry experience; reinsurance knowledge strongly preferred
  • High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and data analysis
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus
  • Strong understanding of insurance contracts, endorsements, and claims workflows
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, or Data Analytics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in automotive, F&I, or dealer group insurance programs
  • Familiarity with reinsurance structures (e.g., retrocession, ceding, facultative agreements)
