Insurance Verification Specialist * Part Time * - Start Now

Hiring Insurance Verification Specialist for REMOTE positions! Must have 1+ years of work experience in a high volume contact center environment, receptionist, -OR- a role in which there is a high volume of daily calls. Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology is a plus.

Metric Based Tier BONUS Pay: The company reviews employees' performance/metrics each pay period to determine what tier the employee is eligible to earn for that pay period. Extra $4/hr (Equating to $19hr)

Permanent Schedule CST (after training)

• Monday: 4 to 9pm
• Tuesday: Scheduled day Off
• Wednesday: 4 to 9pm
• Thursday: 4 to 9pm
• Friday: 4 to 8pm
• Saturday: 7 to 12pm

Overview:

The Insurance Verification Department is responsible for verifying life and health insurance applications directly with potential customers. It is a vital part of our Company’s Business and Underwriting process. The information verified and gathered directly relates to determining whether the Company will decline or issue a policy.

Job Details:

• Maneuver within the Quality Assurance database and conduct appropriate assessments on what additional information or verification is needed
• Ability to handle inbound/outbound calls to potential customers including bilingual calls– verify and document required information to finalize applications for underwriting assessment
• Accurately document the information
• Properly document non-contact attempts within the Quality Assurance Database
• Be able to properly explain the application process to potential customers
• Accurately and thoroughly complete additional paperwork when needed
• Maintain appropriate levels of communication with supervision regarding actions taken within the Quality Assurance database
• Transfer calls to appropriate department as needed
• Successfully meet the minimum expectation for the departmental key performance indicator
• Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
