Job Title: Intake Coordinator
Location: Thrive Now Recovery Center – Iowa City, IA
Employment Type: Full-Time; Salary
Schedule: Monday–Friday; some evening or weekend hours may be required

At Thrive Now Recovery Center, we believe in compassion, structure, and accountability. As an Intake Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals beginning their recovery journey—and a key player in building trust, hope, and momentum.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct client screenings and biopsychosocial assessments


• Collaborate with medical and clinical teams to determine level of care


• Facilitate new client orientation and support documentation completion


• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans and SMART goals


• Provide case management services and care coordination


• Lead supportive group counseling sessions


• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records


• Be a vital part of a values-driven, interdisciplinary treatment team

What You Bring:

• Preferred: Current tCADC, CADC, or equivalent behavioral health certification in Iowa


• Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field (required)


• 2+ years’ experience in SUD, behavioral health, or case management (preferred)


• Knowledge of 12-Step or dual diagnosis models (preferred)


• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills


• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

• Requires standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
