Intake Coordinator

Description of the role

The Intake Coordinator position at University Home Care entails managing the initial intake process for new patients, ensuring proper documentation and communication between patients and caregivers. Also being familiar with the HR department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule visits for new patients


• Collect and verify patient information and health insurance details


• Answer calls, scheduling  


• Complete the hiring process.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employees

Requirements

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred


• Hiring, Recruiting experience 


• Must have a degree or higher education 


• Prior experience in authorizations 


• Strong organizational and communication skills


• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
