Job Title: Direct Support Professional - Thrift Store Donation Intake Center

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at our thrift store donation intake center. The ideal candidate will provide support to individuals in a retail environment, assisting with the donation process and ensuring a positive experience for donors and volunteers alike.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the intake of donations, ensuring items are sorted and processed efficiently.

- Provide support and guidance to volunteers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

- Maintain a clean and organized donation area, ensuring safety and accessibility.

- Engage with donors in a friendly and respectful manner, expressing gratitude for their contributions.

- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement best practices for donation processing.

- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with individuals.

- Basic knowledge of retail operations is a plus.

This position is a 40 hour a week position and does include both weekend days. 

This position requires the successful completion of all RSC required trainings including but not limited to 

- First-Aid/CPR

- Mandt

- Medication Administration Certification 

Trainings will be scheduled and facilitated by RSC
