THE ORGANIZATION

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit agency under contract to the State of California and for 50 years has provided the coordination of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. ACRC employs approximately 700+ persons working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.

COMPENSATION

We adhere to an ten-step salary structure, determined by a combination of educational attainment and professional experience. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Intake Manager  $41.48 - $48.02

 

Note: Master’s degrees in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Child Development, Special Education, Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Sociology or closely related field.

The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY

ACRC is seeking an Intake Manager located in the Sacramento office to provide direction, support, and guidance to Intake Unit Staff. Specifically, this role ensures that: Intake Unit staff is focused on and accountable for serving eligible applicants in accordance with the Lanterman Act and other relevant Federal/State laws; appropriate evidence-based/best practices and cost-effective resources and services are available and provided to Clients; Intake Unit staff guides applicants through the Intake Process while eligibility is determined.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field; have three years of management level experience in a human services or related agency preferably in the field of developmental disabilities or 5+ years of Intake/Case Management experience at ACRC that includes experience in project/committee/community leadership roles, ongoing development from Manager, participation in leadership trainings, and other additional responsibilities.  Additional requirements include the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, requirements and policy standards; demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; and have strong time-management and organization skills. Applicants must also possess a current California Driver’s License and evidence of current automobile liability insurance. Other requirements and qualifications may apply.
