Position Overview:

The Intake Specialist facilitates access into all Willamette Family Programs, performs initial  screening for enrollment, and provides overall support for individuals accessing care for  behavioral and health care services. This department is designed to facilitate the successful  enrollment, engagement, retention and continuity of care for individuals and their families.  

Position: Full-Time Non-Exempt (40 Hours/ week) 

Employment Type: Employee (W-2)  

Shift and Schedule:  Monday-Friday 12:15pm-8:45pm (Friday 12:30pm-8:30pm).  

Compensation: $21.00/ hour

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current CADC R or above 
• Ability to obtain CADC I
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to effectively multitask
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen(s) 

Employment Requirements:  

• This role requires the Intake Specialist is to be available on-site; Must be located in the Eugene, OR area or be willing to commute. 
• Background Check Approval from the Department of Human Services (Initiated post-offer) 
• Pre-employment Drug Screening (including Cannabis/THC) (Initiated post-offer) 
• Effective 03/28/2025- Willamette Family has a required 12 month waiting period before former clients can apply for employment. This policy is in place to ensure professional boundaries and avoid potential conflicts of interest. Essential Duties:

• Perform screening for enrollment into all Willamette Family programs.
• Assisting with verification of insurance benefits and identifying appropriate funding  resources within Willamette Family programs.
• Facilitating intake to all Willamette Family programs, including completion of all  necessary admission paperwork. 
• Assisting clients in connecting with programs and services.  
• Document and input client information according to organization policies and procedures  (includes but is not limited to electronic file maintenance, client notes, logs, and rosters).
