We are here to help homeowners recover from storm, mold, fire/smoke, water, and flooding damage. Our staff are experts in the insurance claim process. Purpose of the Intake Specialist Role

The Intake Specialist provides polite and professional assistance to our customers; has a genuine desire to learn; brings a positive attitude to the organization. The Intake Specialist is a key stakeholder in the front-end process as they will be the first impression of John Grace.

• Reports to work on time; Adheres to on-call rotation schedule and be available for weather related events.

Key responsibilities & duties

• Answer the main phone-line while providing superior customer service. Scheduled
  Monday – Friday (flexible hours)


• Create customer records in project management software.


• Maintain initial Inspectors schedule- Must be able to problem solve during weather
  events and emergency situations.


• Establish and maintain safe work environments.


• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.


• Demonstrate knowledge of construction, mitigation, and insurance claim process 


• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in an effective manner to homeowners who may be unfamiliar with construction terminology and process.


• Communicate effectively to team members and homeowners about expectations.


• Think creatively and problem-solve in the moment.


• Communicate with the General Manager on any concerns about scheduling.


• Assist with miscellaneous office tasks
