Job Description - Intake Supervisor


POSITION SUMMARY

The Client Services Supervisor is responsible for oversight of the RAP, Case Management, and Solutions programs and staff. The supervisor oversees other Program services as directed.

The Client Services Supervisor ensures compliance of all PRM policies and procedures.

The Client Services Supervisor works in collaboration with other departments within PRM, including Counseling, Work Therapy, Food Services, Social Enterprise, Child Care, Community Partners, and Security. The role also works with external providers connected to PRM. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead and manage the RAP, Case Management, and Solutions staff, including providing training, onboarding new staff, monitoring performance, and promoting a positive collaborative culture.
  • Collaborate with the Campus Director to ensure Case Management services are Client Handbook-compliant and observe all residential program requirements.
  • Provide and evaluate procedures, resources, training of staff, and tools to maintain standards and uniformity for the delivery of all RAP, Case Management, and Solutions services.
  • Partner with the Counseling Team to provide collaborative consultation on ensuring cohesive client case management services.
  • Provide supervisory oversight of financial compliance to accommodate PRM Finance requirements for all financial client services or fees relating to Case Management or Solutions.
  • Promote effective relationships between Case Management, RAP, and other PRM departments as well as Community Partners that affect the success of client outcomes.
  • Partner with the Volunteer Coordinator to provide quality volunteer experiences, supervision, and training.
  • As indicated by Campus Director, regularly administer evaluation tools and summarize evaluation findings.
  • Prepare and deliver all required reports for review by the Campus Director or as requested by other PRM departments.
  • Participate in training opportunities, community experiences, be willing to assist with tours and being a public representative of PRM as directed by Campus Director.
  • Lead or participate in devotions, prayers or other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or related Human Services field required or a combination of education and experience
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or related Human Services field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in case management activities and program coordination
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory and leadership experience required
  • Experience working with the homeless/substance abuse/mental health and co-occurring disordered population preferred
  • Familiarity and understanding of PRM and residential programs and services a plus
  • Proficiency in all PRM software programs required to deliver quality programs and data, including Microsoft Office Suite; client tracking software, such as Caseworthy and Electronic Health Record (EHR); and other software used for day-to-day operations, billing, and reporting

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, taste, or smell. The employee will often lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. A large amount of the work is done outside with exposure to sunlight, dust, heat, cold and inclement weather.
