Job Description:

The ILS and Supply Support position will provide Product and Program support to the AN/SPQ-9B Radar Program at NSWC Port Hueneme Division. The successful candidate will become a part of a very dynamic, fast-paced team that requires flexibility in tasking to rapidly respond to the requirements. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and interface with NSWC PHD, other government activities, and various contractor offices for meetings, program schedules, milestones, and product deliveries
  • Define system supportability requirements, evaluate program documentation for logistics impacts, coordinate logistic tasks, review and track logistics products, and participate in various working groups and integrated product teams dedicated to development of specific logistics products.
  • The Contractor shall prepare long range program and project plans and analyze all available data for program impacts on schedules and milestones. 
  • The Contractor shall review and track logistics products to include compiling and inputting data in various databases, systems, and applications.
  • The Contractor shall review and evaluate logistical impacts and incorporate updates to program documents.
  • The Contractor shall support, coordinate, and interface with NSWC PHD, other government activities, and various Contractor offices for meetings, program schedules, milestones, and product deliveries.
  • The Contractor shall conduct research in identifying applicable policies and procedures for developing and executing PHS&T requirements.
  • The Contractor shall support life cycle management of technical documentation.
  • The Contractor shall use the current Navy-Enterprise Inventory Database (currently Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) for all inventory and warehouse management tracking through primary use of material masters.

Requirements

  

Required Skills:

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn quickly and perform in a dynamic, fast paced team 
  • environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to evolving customer requirements and produce positive results.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. government secret clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Navy-ERP and other Navy Logistics databases
  • Current U.S. Government secret clearance.
  • Experience with US Navy logistics and supply support
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Security Clearance:

Applicants may need to have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the Minimum Qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation including but not limited to, criminal history, employment, and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
