Integrated Treatment Specialist is responsible for providing SUD services to clients receiving Integrated Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders (ITCD) within the Adult Community Support Program. Services include completion of SUD assessments, individual and group counseling, and group facilitation.
In your role you Will:
Facilitate an assessment interview that produces sufficient information to identify a BH and or SUD diagnosis, if such is present.
Assist in the overall implementation of the CPR program and in its continual growth and development.
Oversees functions of the Integrated Treatment Program by ensuring services are provided consistently to
Processes all referrals for ITCD services; oversee and monitor program census.
Be an active member of the ITCD treatment team including coordinating care of clients and facilitating/participating in treatment team meetings as scheduled.
Model and train staff in ITCD principals.
Provide Outreach to individuals who have become disengaged.
Develop and/or participate in all individualized treatment plans based on all evaluation and assessment recommendations and needs of the client.
Perform individual, family and group therapy utilizing approved treatment approaches as sanctioned by Swope Health Services' Behavioral Health Department in various service locations.
Completion and timely submission of accurate clinical documentation that includes, but not limited to the Psychosocial Treatment Plan, Progress Notes, Treatment Plan Reviews, and Discharge Summaries.
Submit accurate and timely billing documentation consistent with the requirements of the particular payer or contract,
i.e. Missouri Department of Mental Health, MoHealthNet, private insurance, or the Jackson County Community Mental Health Fund, etc.
Meet expected productivity standards.
Other duties assigned by supervisor.
Provide community education through presentations, as assigned.
Must complete annual agency trainings as required by Swope Health Services and participate in ongoing trainings to meet continued education licensure requirements and department needs.
Attend department and Swope Health Services required meetings.
Education/Qualification
Master's Degree in either Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling and a license in the State of Missouri.
LCSW/LPC OR certified/registered as a substance abuse professional by the Missouri Credentialing Board (Applicable counseling credentials include: CCDP, CCDP-D, CCJP, CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, RADC-P) required.
One (1) year experience in treatment of individuals with substance use disorders required. Two (2) years of experience in the treatment of rehabilitation of substance use disorders or co-occurring disorders preferred.
Working knowledge of the DSM-V and the ability to assess substance use and mental health disorders.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance, with daily access to reliable and registered transportation.
