We are partnering with a leading European fertility healthcare provider headquartered in Prague, operating a network of modern clinics and digital healthcare platforms across multiple countries. The company is undergoing a major digital transformation focused on improving patient experience, clinical operations, and interoperability between healthcare systems.

To support this journey, we are looking for an experienced Integration & Quality Engineer who will help strengthen the company’s integration ecosystem and ensure high-quality, reliable communication between critical platforms including EMR, CRM, patient-facing applications, and future digital products.

About the Role

This is a highly hands-on role combining integration engineering, API development, middleware support, testing, and quality assurance within a modern cloud-based environment.

You will work closely with architects, product teams, developers, and external vendors to design, build, test, and support scalable integrations across multiple systems and countries. The position offers strong exposure to Azure technologies, distributed systems, API governance, and integration architecture.

What You’ll Be Doing



  • Develop and maintain APIs, middleware services, and integration components primarily using Python

  • Support and enhance Azure API Management and integration layers

  • Design and execute integration, regression, functional, and end-to-end testing strategies

  • Ensure interoperability between EMR, CRM, patient portals, billing systems, and analytics platforms

  • Collaborate on integration standards, API governance, and technical documentation

  • Participate in architecture discussions and solution design activities

  • Support distributed services, asynchronous processing, and cloud integrations

  • Improve CI/CD validation, automated testing, and operational monitoring

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, product owners, and vendors across Europe






Requirements



  • Experience with API development, middleware, or integration engineering

  • Strong Python development skills

  • Understanding of REST APIs, authentication models, and integration patterns

  • Experience with API gateways (Azure API Management is a strong advantage)

  • Background in QA, automated testing, or integration testing

  • Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous processing

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Ability to work in agile and cross-functional environments

  • Good communication and documentation capabilities

Nice to Have



  • Experience in healthcare, fertility, EMR, or regulated environments

  • Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems

  • CI/CD and DevOps tooling experience

  • Knowledge of JSON/XML transformations and schema validation

  • Understanding of security and data governance within integrations
